OutKind Counseling is introducing support groups. Some are provided to the community for fee and some are free of charge. Join us!
OutRight Youth Support Group at The Emotional Wellness Center is sponsored by OutKind Counseling. The group is free and open to youth who are LGBTQIA+ identified between the ages of 14 and 20. The group will meet in-person the 3rd Tuesday of each month with topics to be chosen by those attending.
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
This group is free to attendees.
Participants must be LGBTQIA+ identified, (Q is for "questioning" as well as "queer") and be between the ages of 14 and 20.
Topics are selected by the participants.
Snacks will be provided.
Meetings are not considered therapeutic and may cover a range of topics from current affairs, to identity, to LGBTQ+ culture.
All new participants need to complete the "New Member Form." This form will be asked to be updated at regular intervals. The form is located below. All fields must be completed.
While meetings are sponsored by OutKind Counseling and may be guided by individuals who have a background in counseling or come from other mental health fields, it may also be guided by adults who are trained in group facilitation and have cleared criminal background checks.
